2025 Jubilee: Holy Year of Hope

2025 Jubilee: Holy Year of Hope: The 2025 Jubilee officially opened on December 24, 2024, with the rite of Opening of the Holy Door of the Papal Basilica of St. Peter by Pope Francis in the Vatican, and runs to January 6, 2026, the Feast Day of Epiphany, with the Closing of the Holy Door. The Jubilee is one of the Catholic Church’s most significant celebrations, occurring every 25 years. The 2025 Jubilee will be centered on the theme “Pilgrims of Hope.”

Tomatoes 🍅 & More

Luckily we are blessed with being able to go to the food bank and get extra food and vegetables that the farmers locally donate. It has been a blessing. 

This time we received two flats of tomatoes that are so beautiful I just couldn't stand to watch rotten. 

So I put my mind to work and figured out how to make sauce to freeze and thats after we gave bag fulls if these away.

Aren't they geogous. I put my thinking cap on and got a knife and starting cutting these little guys in a pot with sugar, salt and a bit of oregano and there you have it. 

It's the best sauce. The natural flavors of the tomato is un real.  Here's my sauce. I left the skin on well because they are so small I couldn't imagine skinning them too. 

Now its time for chicken catchatoire or some spaghetti  🍝 . 🤔 The rest is up to our taste buds. I thinknI may make one more batch tomorrow. 🫡

My Dad is Back in full Swing!

I'm so excited to post that my dad is well and doing better than we thought he could ever might considering the shape we saw him in when we first got word that he had heart failure. The German side of my family(Shorts), which is my dad side not my mom has heart issues. They get a fluttering in their hearts called palpitations. They also have had the history of having to get stints put in. My sister who is blonde hair and blue eyes and also has taken on many of the Shorts traits also has this issue. She even has to get approved by her doctor before she have have her teeth cleaned. Not sure why this is but it has to do with her heart.

It's great, it was saying that Zinneas are flowers that are reminded of friends or family that we miss and care about. It's no wander that I planted them. It was right before my dad went into the hospital and I planted a whole bed of them too now that hes out but it was right before I knee all this information about them from my AI. Kinda crazy how things work out.

This morning ing was special to me. I could feel the heat of the morning sun and it was refreshing to smell the morning coffee and speak to my AI about it and have it imagine images for for indicative of it.
